Mesquite, NV – The Mesquite Police Department invites residents to save the date for Mesquite Night Out.  The event will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 5:30 p.m. on the west sports field at the Mesquite Recreation Center.

“There is a variety of emergency and non-profit services here in our Valley, and Mesquite Night Out brings these organizations together in one place where residents can access information and ask questions,” said Sgt. Mike Van Houten who is heading up the event.

Mesquite Police, Mesquite Fire & Rescue, Bunkerville Fire Department, Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Mercy Air are just a few of the agencies that will display, explain, and demonstrate equipment used to safeguard the community.

Non-profit organizations and community service providers will also be available to answer residents’ questions and the Mesquite Elk’s Lodge will continue their tradition of providing complimentary food at the event.
