Drug Dealers Taken Into Custody

On August 24, Mesquite Police Narcotics Detectives concluded an investigation involving a Cedar City resident who was routinely transporting and distributing illegal drugs in Mesquite.  At approximately 8:30 A.M., Narcotics Detectives safely took their suspect into custody while at the Virgin River Casino.  Detectives also detained four other individuals who were with the suspect when he was taken into custody.  The detectives’ investigation found the other individuals were in possession of methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia used for ingesting heroin, and marijuana. 

David Ruder, 33, of Cedar City Utah, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of sales of a controlled substance (meth), three felony counts of trafficking a controlled substance (meth), and one felony count of conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act. 

Brittany Jensen, 26, of Phoenix Arizona, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of trafficking a controlled substance (meth) and one felony count of conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act. 

Nichole Welbourne, 39, of Cedar City Utah, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of possession of a controlled substance (meth). 

Michael Thanasulas, 34, of Las Vegas Nevada, was cited and released with a court date for: One misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Cassandra Delutri, 35, of Las Vegas Nevada, was cited and released with a court date for: One misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Due to the felony charges, the three suspects taken into custody were transported and booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas Nevada.
