Juveniles Charged For Weapons Offense

Mesquite, NV – Friday, November 7, Mesquite Police Officers responded to the area of Second South and Jensen Park, reference a report of male juveniles firing gun shots from a moving vehicle. The information officers received was that multiple shots from a handgun were fired towards the sky out of the back window of a vehicle. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. Officers promptly arrived on scene and commenced a thorough investigation.

 

On Wednesday, November 11, Mesquite Police Officers concluded their investigation through locating and charging the two out of state male juvenile offenders for obstructing a peace officer and a weapons offense. Due to the age of the suspects their names and information will not be released.

 

Mesquite Police Chief Troy Tanner commented “It is important that our message is clear, any reckless illegal behavior that places the public in danger will not be tolerated. Our well trained officers will continue working until the case is solved and those offenders are brought to justice.”
