Law & Order Night

Mesquite, NV — On Saturday, May 31, the Mesquite Elks Lodge held their 10th annual Law & Order Night. The event was held to honor all Mesquite Police and Fire personnel for the service they render. During the Law and Order Night the Elks individually honored four of MPD’s finest. Police Detective Jordan Bundy was recognized for being Mesquite Police Officer of the year. Animal Control Supervisor Joe Macias was recognized for being Mesquite Police Civilian of the year. Mesquite Police Captain Shane Charles and Records/Evidence Technician Janice Jones were both individually honored for their many years of service and upcoming retirement.

Mesquite Police Chief Troy Tanner stated, “The Law & Order Night is a great event that seems to only get better every year. On behalf of the Mesquite Police Department I would like to personally thank the Mesquite Elks Lodge members for putting on such a great event to honor the incredible officers and firefighters of Mesquite.”
