Mesquite Police Arrest Two Local Drug Dealers

On Thursday, April 14, Mesquite Police Narcotics Detectives concluded an investigation involving two local residents who were continually selling illegal drugs from their Mesquite home.  In the afternoon of April 14th, Mesquite Detectives served a search warrant at the home of the two suspected drug dealers.  Both suspects were at home at the time the search warrant was executed, and both were taken safely into custody.  The subsequent search warrant yielded a large quantity of crystal methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and stolen property. 

Jodi Moss, 45, of Mesquite Nevada, was arrested and charged with: Two felony counts of sales of a controlled substance (meth), four felony counts of low-level trafficking of a controlled substance (meth), two felony counts of mid-level trafficking of a controlled substance (meth), one felony count of possession of a controlled substance (meth), one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and one felony count of possession of stolen property. 

John Sutton, 58, of Mesquite Nevada, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of sales of a controlled substance (meth), four felony counts of low-level trafficking of a controlled substance (meth), two felony counts of mid-level trafficking of a controlled substance (meth), one felony count of possession of a controlled substance (meth), one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and one felony count of possession of stolen property. 

Both suspects were transported and booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
