Mesquite Police Make Multiple Drug Arrests and Locate Fugitive

On Thursday, May 12, Mesquite Police Narcotics Detectives received information that a possible fugitive from Utah was staying in a hotel room at the Virgin River Hotel & Casino, and was possibly involved in illegal drug activity.  Detectives then began watching the hotel room and surrounding area for the alleged fugitive.  A short time later, detectives observed two males outside of the hotel room.  Both males were contacted and taken into custody for having active arrest warrants, and drug possession charges. 

Detectives then made contact with the occupants of the hotel room where the fugitive was allegedly staying.  The fugitive was found inside, along with four other people.  A subsequent search of the hotel room yielded methamphetamines and heroin. 

Domingo Montiel, 23, of St. George Utah, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of possession of a controlled substance (meth) and one felony count of possession of a controlled substance (heroin). 

Greygory Tavesi, 29, of Hurricane Utah, was arrested and charged with: One misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.  Greygory was also taken into custody due to an active warrant for his arrest. 

Bobby Ruff, 45, of St. George Utah, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of possession of a controlled substance (meth) and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Valentina Madden, 19, of St. George Utah, was arrested and charged with: One misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

 Alethea Jordan, 32, of St. George Utah, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of fugitive from justice.  The fugitive of justice charge was a result multiple active drug related felony arrest warrants out of Utah. 

Josef Kirschbauer, 26, of Beaver Dam Arizona, was taken into custody due to two active warrants for his arrest. 

Jose Macias, 42, of Vista California, was arrested and charged with: Four felony counts of sales of a controlled substance (meth).
