MPD Files Additional Charges on Burglary Suspect

On Tuesday, November 29, Mesquite Police Detectives completed their investigations into more burglary and theft investigations after determining Erik Rasmusson, was their sole suspect.  The detectives’ investigations led to the locating and recovery of more stolen items including firearms and a vehicle.  

The Mesquite Police Department filed the following additional criminal charges with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office on Erik Rasmusson; One felony count of burglary, one felony count of invasion of the home, one felony count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, two felony counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, and one felony count of trafficking a controlled substance (meth). 

Additional charges are still forthcoming pending the completion of additional investigations regarding possible forced entry and burglary of local businesses.
