Seal Coat Maintenance

Public Works has scheduled Seal Coat Maintenance through out the city starting on Monday, September 26th through Friday, October 7th, 2016. 


 Please use caution when traveling on the following streets starting:

Monday - September 26th:  Flat Top Mesa Drive (East Side Only)
Tuesday - September 27th:  World Champion Way & Flat Top Mesa (East Side Only)
Wednesday - September 28th:  Oxbow Bend (East Side)
Thursday - September 29th:  Bertha Howe Avenue, Falcon Ridge Parkway & Oxbow Bend (West Side)
Friday - September 30th:  Bertha Howe Avenue, Falcon Ridge Parkway, Flat Top Mesa Drive & Oxbow Bend (West Side)

Monday - October 3rd:  Flat Top Mesa Drive & Lower Flat Top Mesa
Tuesday - October 4th:  Canyon Crest Boulevard, Conestoga  Parkway, Cyrus McCormick Court, Issac Newton Drive & Horizon Boulevard

Wednesday - Friday October 5th - 7th will be cleanup of streets and removal of cones.

Street Closures

Public Works will be closing the following Streets for Seal Coat Maintenance starting Monday, September 26th - Wednesday, September 28th, 2016:

Streets will be CLOSED from 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.:
Monday, September 26th - Smokey Lane
Tuesday, September 27th - Part of Leavitt Lane & Pulsipher Lane
Wednesday, September 28th - Part of Leavitt Lane & Pulsipher Lane

This closure for maintenance will affect Residential Parking on these streets during these days, please read the Notice for more details.

Sediment Transport Route

Notice to the General Public:

As part of the Town Wash Detention Basin Sediment Removal Project, sediment removed from the detention basin will be transported to the fill site at the southwest corner of the Falcon Ridge Parkway and Hardy Way Intersection.  

Please be advised that semi-truck and trailer traffic will be entering and exiting on Canyon Crest Parkway, Horizon Boulevard and Hardy Way.  Please refer to the Sediment Transport Route Map below for a visual graphic of the truck route.

Public Works would like to inform Mesquite Residents of the new Traffic Control Signals installed by Nevada Department of Transportation through the Federal Highway Administration funding.  The "NEW" change apply to all Traffic Signals located in the City of Mesquite.  The graphic to the left shows the changes that apply.
