2017 Mesquite Days Grand Marshal

Mrs. Bunny Wiseman will be honored as the 2017 Mesquite Days Parade Grand Marshal.

 

Bunny and Mike Wiseman moved to Mesquite over 10 years ago as year round residents. They are both passionate about Mesquite weather and enjoy participating in Pickle ball and Bicycle riding almost every day. Bunny's claim to fame is an advocate for all of the amazing Art opportunities offered in our great city.

 

As most people know, Bunny is an avid pickle ball player, very active in many different events and activities to name a few. She has been an executive member of the Chamber of Commerce board. On the committee to produce a City Charter, On the City Master Plan Committee, A runner-up for Ms. Senior Mesquite, Mesquite Community Theater manager and done every job you can name in theater, A board Member of 5 Arts Organizations, The President of 3 Arts Organizations, Managed Hearts for the Arts Gala several years, Teaches painting and drawing classes in the Fine Arts Gallery, Participated in obtaining funds and executing building of Gallery Classroom and Participated in 2 large projects to improve and update Mesquite Community Theater.

 

Bunny has enjoyed the honor of being this year’s Citizen of the Year. She thanks all her friends and the friendships she and her husband have made since moving to Mesquite.
