Dutch Oven Dessert in the Desert

On Saturday, January 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., local dutch oven cook, Sam Reber, will will talk about dutch oven cooking and some of the secrets of creating great desserts.

This event focusing on how food was prepared pre-electricity will be in the garden area behind the Museum. This is a family-friendly event and is open to the public.

Come delight your tastebuds and learn a little more about how the early settlers not just survived, but thrived in early Mesquite.
