ROANOKE, TEXAS (June 5, 2013) - Long Drivers of America (LDA) today announced the upcoming rebroadcast schedule of the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship Powered By Dick's Sporting Goods. 

Re-live the action from Mesquite, Nevada and witness Ryan Winther's record setting performance on ESPN2 Sunday, June 9 at 11:30 am ET and againSaturday, June 22 at 1:30 pm ET. 

Additionally, Canada's Total Sports Network (TSN) will replay the ninety-minute telecast June 22 @ 1:30pm ET.

"This will be another great opportunity to showcase these amazing athletes," said Art Sellinger, LDA's CEO. "This additional international exposure for the event serves a nice precursor to the upcoming "Long Dive Month" on Golf Channel starting in October."

The 2013 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship Open Division Finals will take place October 30, from 6-8 p.m. PST under the lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The teeing area is located underneath the grandstands about 40 feet above the LVMS grass infield, which will serve as the 50-yard wide fairway. The Finals will be aired LIVE on Golf Channel with a winner-take-all prize of $250,000 earned by the last man standing of the eight finalists.

LDA will crown champions in six divisions and determine the eight open finalists in Mesquite, Nevada, Sept. 18-27 at the Mesquite Sports and Event Complex. Action in Mesquite will account for three of the four shows chronicling the competitors' drive to the championship that will air on Golf Channel for what is billed as Long Drive Month.

The RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship will be showcased in 25 hours of airtime on Golf Channel beginning October 9. Additionally, a documentary style hour-long special will air on NBC later in the year. 

These elite power hitters create ball speeds upward of 220 mph, roughly matched by the speed merchants at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It's speed on speed for a cool quarter million dollars. The Finals in Las Vegas will be the perfect way to crown the champion after the dramatic qualification process in Mesquite, Nevada.
