The Mesquite Manta Rays Swim Team in co-sponsorship with the Hurricane Tiger Sharks Swim Team, will be hosting a swim meet Saturday (August 3, 2013), at the Mesquite Recreation Center Outdoor pool. According to Nicholas Montoya, Associate Director of the Department, the outdoor pool will be closed to the general public on Saturday until 4:00 p.m. or until the meet is over.

“We will have around 50-60 of our own swimmers from the Mesquite Manta Ray swim team participating in the Swim Meet, we are expecting around 300 swimmers in the meet,” said Montoya.

Montoya said, “We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause any one; but our indoor pool will be open at the regular times during the event.”
