The Mesquite Manta Rays Swim Team will be hosting the season ending swim championships on Friday August 4 and Saturday August 5, 2017 at the Mesquite Recreation Center Outdoor pool. According to Kennedi Ludvigson, Swim Team Head Coach, the outdoor pool will be closed to the general public on Friday all day the 4th of August and open back up around 3:00 P.M. Saturday the 5th of August or until the Championships are over.

“We will have around 80 of our own swimmers from the Mesquite Manta Ray swim team participating in the Swim Meet, we are expecting around another 300 swimmers from Dixie State, Fredonia and Hurricane for the Championship meet said Ludvigson.

Nicholas Montoya, Department Director said, “We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause any one; but our indoor pool will be open at the regular times during the event and of course both splash pads are open and operational for the public.”
