Mesquite Recreation Center Fee Review Committee to host Town Hall meeting on Monday

Citizens interested in providing input to the Mesquite Recreation Center Fee Review Committee are invited to participate in a Town Hall meeting Monday (Oct. 21) at 5 p.m. The meeting will be in the Training Room on the second floor at City Hall, 10 East Mesquite Blvd. 

The short-term committee will consider strategies for determining Recreation Center and Field Use fees as well as funding a capital projects and repair budget. Recreation Center fees to be studied include daily admittance and monthly, 6-month and annual membership rates. Rental fees for rooms, park pavilions and equipment as well as usage fees for athletic fields and concession stands, along with possible Senior Center memberships and athletic venue advertising rates will be considered.

A final committee meeting will take place at noon on Monday, Nov. 4, in order to formulate recommendations for the Dec. 3 Technical Review Meeting and Dec. 10 City Council meeting.
