The Mesquite Department of Athletics and Leisure Services is going to help you turn your tree into mulch during the Christmas Tree Recycle Program.

The Department of Athletics and Leisure Services is going to recycle your Christmas tree’s for FREE from December 27, 2016 to January 13, 2017.  “We are looking to becoming a greener community every day and by us recycling your Christmas trees and turning them into mulch can help the City save money and use the mulch were its needed”  said by Randy Laub, Parks Superintendent.

The location where the community can drop off there tree’s will be in the parking lot of Field # 3 of Pioneer Park Ball Fields.

We ask of the community that you make sure that all ornaments, lights and any metal of any kind are removed from the trees before the recycling process begins.
