Vacant Committee Assignment

The City of Mesquite is seeking a volunteer to fill a city-appointed vacancy on the Clark County Regional Flood Control District Citizen's Advisory Committee for a two-year term.  

The Citizen's Advisory Committee (CAC) is an advisory body to the District. The CAC represents the community by advising the Board of local concerns regarding flood control matters and assists the Board in any other areas of concern when so directed by the Board. The CAC will also assist and participate in the development of public education and involvement programs.

The person selected will be required to travel to Las Vegas for meetings, as well as provide updates to the City Council and community during a council meeting.

Applicant must be a citizen of Nevada and a resident of Mesquite at the time of application.  Applications are available online or in-person from the City Clerk's Office at 10 East Mesquite Boulevard.  Applications are due Friday, May 29, 2015 at 5:00 PM.
