On Saturday, March 5,2016, The Virgin Valley High School Orchestra Ensemble will be performing at the Pavilion behind the Virgin Valley Heritage Museum.

The performance will start at 1:30 p.m. and will last 45 minutes. Orchestra conductor, Kendra Graff, stated that, “The orchestra is the biggest the school has ever had. The students are phenomenal this year. We welcome the opportunity to play out in the community.”

Recently, the approximately thirty student-musicians received excellent reviews in the local newspapers for their winter concert. In their spare time, many of the students participate in the Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra and the Harmonic Strings Chamber Ensemble. They are currently preparing to compete at the Clark County School District's Advanced Orchestra Festival on March 17, 2016, in Las Vegas.

Admission is free and open to anyone interested in listening. Concertgoers are invited to bring their own chairs or cushions to sit on. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
