The City Clerk’s Office is accepting nominations for the Mesquite Distinguished Citizen Recognition Award. Distinguished Citizens are a special group of residents, business owners and community leaders, who have contributed significantly to making Mesquite a better place to live. These men and women of outstanding character can even be honored posthumously.

Nomination forms are now available in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall. The nomination form is also available for download below. Completed nominations are due to the City Clerk’s Office by noon on Friday, January 22, 2016.

A committee of local residents will select the honoree and the decision will be announced during a February 2015 City Council Meeting.

If you have any questions, please call the City Clerk’s Office at 702-346-5295 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
