For the fifth consecutive year, Eureka Casino Resort is proud to host, “Rockets over the Red Mesa” on Friday, July 4th. The Nevada POPS Orchestra will be back again this year with a full 31 piece orchestra performing a 75 minute program celebrating 100 years of American music.

The live performance will begin at 8:00 pm followed by fireworks at 9:00 pm. The orchestra will accompany the fireworks show. The fireworks and concert are free to attend and is a continuing gift to the local community.  “The Nevada POPS have been a staple in Southern Nevada for more than 20 years and bringing them to Mesquite is something we are honored to do.  Celebrating through music is a fantastic way to bring our community together,” said Eureka co-founder, Doris Lee.

Arrive early and enjoy the Backyard BBQ Premier Buffet in Town Square.  The buffet will feature favorites such as BBQ chicken, ribs, hamburgers and hot dogs.  The buffet will be open from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Also, don’t miss the charity vendor village from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and charity hot dog eating contest at 7:15 pm located behind the casino.

The viewing area will be set up behind Eureka Casino. Bring your own chairs. Everyone is invited to attend. Weather permitting.
