Mesquite NV Innovation and Technology Summit

In concert with Nevada's focus on medical tourism, Mesquite Regional Business, Inc. (MRB) is hosting the Mesquite NV Innovation and Technology Summit (MITS) at 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM on October 16, 2014 in the Grand Canyon Room at the Eureka Casino and Resort (275 Mesa Boulevard, Mesquite, NV). 

Mesquite Regional Business, Inc. The inaugural speaker Easton LaChappelle will unveil his latest technological advancement.  LaChappelle, who was selected to show his invention to President of the United States at the White House with other young scientists earlier last year, will give a presentation demonstrating the capabilities of his newest and final robotic arm.  This innovative arm is intended for prosthetic use but will also be used as a robotics learning tool..MRB is extending a special invitation for those interested in prosthetics, orthotics, robotics, etc. to share stories of successes, network with like-minded individuals to improve human performance through robotics and prosthetics.

The Mesquite NV Innovation and Technology Summit (MITS) is being held in conjunction with the Mesquite ParaLong Drive WORLDS Competition, October 16-17, 2014.  MITS is an integral part of the two-day world championship event.   “The ParaLong Drive Worlds competition where disabled athletes from around the world will compete for the disabled golfers’ longest drive bragging rights,” stated Dean Jarvis, Founder Amputee Long Drive Championship.  Mesquite Nevada works hard to create meaningful value for disabled athletes.
