Understanding the Flashing Yellow Arrows

Public Works would like to inform Mesquite Residents of the Traffic Control Signals with the flashing yellow arrows installed by Nevada Department of Transportation through the Federal Highway Administration funding.  This applies to all Traffic Signals located in the City of Mesquite.  The graphic above helps to explain how the flashing yellow arrows work. The NDOT brochure and RTC video help to explain why these signals have been implemented.
