Interstate 15 Closure Due to 69-kV Power Pole Replacement

Overton Power District No. 5 is installing new power poles, which will necessitate a temporary closure of Interstate 15 (I-15) in both northbound and southbound directions (N/S) from mile marker 120 to mile marker 122 in Mesquite, NV. The closure dates are tentatively slated for Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM and Wednesday, June 13, from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The District will be replacing a power pole holding a power line that crosses over the interstate. During this closure motorists on I-15 will be rerouted to Mesquite Boulevard.
