Christmas Storytime

On Saturday, Dec. 15, from 11:to noon, the Virgin Valley Heritage Museum invites you to listen to local artist, Diana Coonradt, tell Christmas stories of yore. This free family-oriented event at the Museum is open to all ages.

In past years, Diana has dressed up as a pioneer for this event;. The reason being that for the early setters storytelling was part of the fabric of Christmas. The pioneers also enjoyed sports, competitions, dances, carolling, family dinners and pageants. Generally, the week leading up to Christmas and the week after were a continuous celebration.
