Cowboy Poet Veteran's Tribute Performance

The Virgin Valley Heritage Museum will be sponsoring a free Cowboy Poet Performance to be held in the classroom next to the Fine Art Gallery.

The Cowboy Poets of Mesquite were organized in 2006 by the late Butch Burkholder and are sponsored by the Mesquite Arts Council. Their goal was to preserve the traditions of western cowboys, ranchers and pioneers through verse and rhyme. Today, the group consists of local poets from Utah and Nevada, along with snowbirds from Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
