2023 Nevada State Main Street Assessment Survey

Overview

The Governor's Office of Economic Development and the Nevada State Main Street Program has contracted with the University Center for Economic Development, part of the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno, to complete a statewide Nevada Main Street Strategic Planning Initiative.  As part of this initiative, the following survey has been developed to collect vital information about your community's main street program.  The results of this survey will be used to help inform the broader strategic planning initiative.

You are being invited to participate in this online survey about your local Nevada Downtown area (or local historic district, Main Street district, or primary small business corridor, referred to as “Downtown” for survey purposes).  Its purpose is to gather community feedback on the downtown district, and to use that feedback when planning for future development and improvements.  The survey consists of 17 questions and should take between 10 minutes and 15 minutes to complete.  Your individual responses will be kept anonymous and will not be attributable to any one person by name.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Shari Davis, Rural Economic and Community Development Director with the Governor's Office of Economic Development, by email (sadavis@goed.nv.gov), or Frederick Steinmann, Director of the University Center for Economic Development, by email (fred@unr.edu).

Thank you!
