Mesquite, NV (December 4, 2020) — The Mesquite CARES Small Business Assistance Program has been established utilizing a portion of federal CARES Act funding allocated to the City. Eligible expenses include payroll, rent/mortgage, utility bills, COVID supplies, cleaning and sanitation, and expenses related to retrofitting in order to comply with social distancing and other health guidelines.
Small businesses based in Mesquite, in good standing with the City, that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply. Approved entities with 1-20 employees are eligible to receive up to $10,000.00 in funding; those approved entities with 21-40 employees are eligible to receive up to $15,000.00.
